GuidelineCentral® offers GUIDELINES Pocketcards® in convenient digital formats. This guide will help you better understand how you can access GUIDELINES on mobile devices and using a web browser.

While shopping in our store, you will notice you have the option to purchase a printed version of our pocket cards, as well as a digital version. Purchasing a "Digital Format" gives you access to a 6 month subscription to the digital version of your requested guideline - "Digital Formats" is a comprehensive term we use to describe all of our digital products:
Guideline Central Mobile App for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch
Guideline Central’s Apple operating system (iOS) App allows users to access digital versions of the Guideline Pocketcards® and the National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC) summaries on mobile devices without wireless Internet (WiFi) or cellular data services. The free app includes access to more than 2600 NGC summaries and option to subscribe to dozens of high-quality and very useful titles using convenient in-app purchases. The App is fully compatible with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod Touch) using iOS version 5.1 or higher) - Click here to download from iTunes.
Guideline Central Android App
Android users may download our FREE Guideline Central app and also access the guidelines content offline. Just enter your Guideline Central username and password to gain access. Here is the link to the app in Google Play (Click Here).
Guideline Central Web App
When the digital version of the pocketcard is purchased from the website, three emails are sent
- Purchase receipt
- Email with a link to select the password and to activate the account
- Email with a URL for the online guideline – just bookmark the URLs of your desired guidelines and input your Guideline Central username and password to gain access.
Purchasing Digital Versions of the Pocketcards:
The Digital versions of the pocketcards can be purchased from the Guidelines Central website or from within the App. Once the purchase process is completed the content can be viewed on any of the three platforms (iOS, Android and Web) FREE of charge using the same username and password.
Making purchases from the Guideline Central Website:
- Navigate within our store to the GUIDELINES title you wish to purchase
- Choose "digital" as format
- Complete the checkout process
- Check your confirmation email - it will contain a link to the web app, as well as your login information
- Click the link within the email or open the desired GUIDELINES title within your Guideline Central app
- Use your email address and password to access the GUIDELINES title
- That's it! You now have 6 months of continuous access to your purchased title - anytime, anywhere
*Note - Subscriptions will not be renewed automatically, you must manually purchase another subscription in order to avoid a lapse in your access
In App Purchases:
To purchase titles from within the App, tap on Subscribe in the Catalog. The titles purchased in the App can be viewed using the Web App:
- Find the title on the IGC website
- Open the Digital Formats Tab
- Click on the Web App URL link
- Sign-in using the mobile account credentials
- Book mark the page for future reference
Mobile App vs the Web App
Purchasing a digital format in our store gives you access to our guidelines products both online and on mobile devices.
Web App can be used on any computer with an Internet connection – just bookmark the URLs of your desired guidelines and input your Guideline Central username and password to gain access.
The iOS Mobile App allows:
• Access to the Web subscriptions using Guideline Central account credentials
• Convenient in-app purchase to add to your library
• Off-line access to more than 2600 guideline summaries from the National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC) index by profession, organization, category, and specialty
• Bookmarking of page
• Note taking for future reference
• Links to NGC summaries can be shared with colleagues and/or used for desktop reading.

About Digital Subscriptions:
You will have 6 months of full access to your chosen Guideline(s) when you purchase a digital subscription. During this period you will receive instant updates to any purchased guidelines that ensure that you are always getting the most up-to-date recommendations.
After your first 6 months, you will have the option to cancel your subscription manually. But don't worry, we will send you an e-mail to remind you when your subscription is coming to an end.
During the subscription term you will get:
• Content updates, including new editions, for the length of your subscription period
• Web App access for the length of your subscription
• The ability to transfer your product to a different mobile device
• Free technical support
• Easy renewal and cancellation options to ensure you get access anytime, anywhere
