Guideline Central offer a variety of products – printed pocket cards, web apps, mobile apps, wall clings, posters, and more. We are also able to design custom products that best serve your individual needs. Can I have your pocket cards printed in a language other than English?
We are able to provide bulk orders in another language and modified for other countries’ pharmacopoeia. Please call to make arrangements.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are shipped within 4 business days. Delivery time will vary depending on location and shipping method chosen.
What credit cards are accepted?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are all accepted.

Certain bulk orders may qualify for purchase order payments. Call us for more information.
How do I apply a promotional code to my order?
Upon checkout you will be able to enter a promotional code or voucher.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is applied only to customers living in Maryland.
What shipping service do you use?
The majority of our orders are shipped through the US Postal Service. However we may also utilize Fedex or UPS under special circumstances.
Do you ship internationally?
We do. Add your desired items to your cart and you will receive a shipping total before you place your order.

How long will it take my order to ship?

You may cancel your order for a full refund if the order has not yet shipped. If it has, see above.

Who are guidelines pocket cards designed for?
The pocket cards, pocket guides, and mobile apps were designed specifically with healthcare providers in mind. Let us know if you have any suggestions for improving our guidelines products.
Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
We do. More than 5 copies qualify for a discount over the price of a single copy. Orders of quantities greater than 100 qualify for special bulk discount pricing. Call us for more details.
Do you offer samples or product catalogs?
We do offer samples of digital guidelines apps, but the nature of our printed pocket cards prevents us from offering these as samples except under special circumstances. We also offer other titles that are not featured on our website. Call us for more information about samples or other guidelines titles.
How often are new products added?
New products are constantly being introduced. We average 4 new pocket card titles every month. However that number fluctuates. Check back often, or subscribe to Guideline Alerts to be notified when a new title is available. You can also call us to find out which titles are currently slated for upcoming development.
Do you offer any group or institution discounts?
We do. Guideline Central is proud to offer special discounts to medical schools, training programs, students and more. Call us for more information or to see if you qualify.
Can I purchase complete sets of your guidelines (ie. Complete IDSA collection)?
You can currently purchase a complete set of any medical society’s titles by adding each item to your cart individually. We are in the process of creating an easier “1-click” purchase method. We also offer discounts for purchases of complete sets. Call or email us to find out more.
Can I purchase your products as a gift?
Gift wrapped? With a bouquet of flowers? Maybe a singing telegram? (Our CEO composes and sings Country & Western songs). Pricing on request. A joke of course...FAQ's can be so boring sometimes! Of course you can purchase as a gift!

What if I can’t find a pocket card for the guidelines I’m interested in?
Because of the large number of clinical practice guidelines in publication, we are not able to carry each and every title in quick reference format. If there is a specific title you are interested in, give us a call and we will do our best to see that title introduced for sale.
Can I copy or reproduce any information found in your guidelines library?
All of the content included in our guideline summaries is public domain, but we do ask that you cite your source and let us know how the content is going to be used.

How do I create an account?
Click the “Sign Up” icon located at the top of every page. From there you can create an account.

Don’t worry. Call us or click the “I forgot my userid/password” link. You will be prompted for a reset.
Which Apple devices do you support?
The app is fully compatible with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod Touch) using iOS version 5.1 or higher.
Can I purchase titles from the Guideline Central website?
To purchase titles from the Guideline Central webpage:
Find the relevant title by either using “Search” or the “Shop Guidelines” tab
Make sure the description states that the title is available on the Apple platforms
Select the “Digital” format
Proceed to the checkout

I already subscribed to Digital Guidelines on the website. Are these available on the mobile devices?
Download the free Guideline Central app from the App Store and log in using the account created on the website. All subscriptions purchased on the website will appear in the “My Guidelines” tab in the Mobile App.
Can I view the titles purchased within the App on the Web?
The easiest way is to find the title on the www.guidelinecentral.com; click on “Preview” in the “Digital Formats” tab and sign in using the account created on the mobile device.
This feature is only available to registered users on the mobile device

How do I install the app?
Make sure you have a strong cellular or Wi-Fi connection:
In the App Store, search for "Guideline Central"
Tap on "Free"
Tap on "Install">

I have an iPad/iPod without cellular data connection or access to WiFi; how do I install the app?
The app can be installed by connecting the device to a computer connected to the Internet:
Connect your iOS device to your laptop/desktop
Go to the iTunes Store
In the App Store, select the "Medical" category
In the "Search" box, search for "Guideline Central"
From the result, click on "Guideline Central..."
Click on "Download" and follow the instructions on the screen
Sync your device to transfer the app to the device
How much space does the app require?
Once all the National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC) summaries downloaded, the app requires about 126 MB of storage space.
Are the in-app purchases automatically renewed?
Apple will send an e-mail 1 month prior to expiration of the subscription with an option to discontinue the subscription
What versions of iOS are supported?
iOS versions 5.1 and above are supported
How do I un-install/delete the app?
Press and hold the “Guidelines” icon until it starts to wobble and then tap on the "x" to delete the app.
How do I transfer licenses to another device?
Licenses can be accessed on different devices using the Guideline Central account credentials.
Is an Internet connection (WiFi or cellular data connection) required to access Guidelines on the app?
An Internet connection is only required during the installation process. All subscriptions are automatically available offline. There is an option to download the National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC) summaries for offline access.
Is WiFi required to download the content?
If WiFi is not available, the app can be downloaded by connecting the device to a computer (PC or Mac) connected to the Internet by using iTunes.
Can I access the Guidelines on more than one device?
Only registered account holders can access the subscriptions on multiple devices.
How do I update the content?
The app checks for updates upon logging in and upon launching. It is recommended that you re-launch the app from time to time to update the content.
How do I get refunds for in-app purchases?
Unfortunately Guideline Central cannot offer refunds for in-app purchases--please contact Apple.
How do I get a refund on a purchase I made from the Guideline Central website?
We have several discounts and distribution programs for group and bulk purchases. Please contact us at email@example.com for additional information.
Can custom bundles be created for bulk distribution?

Can I purchase individual Pocketcards from iTunes?
The titles are not sold individually in iTunes or in the App Store. They can be purchased from the Guideline Central website or through the app using the in-app purchase option.
How do I turn off auto-renewals?
The auto-renewals can be turned off either on the device or on the computer: Here are the steps to disable auto-renewal from your iOS device:
From your device's Home screen, tap "App Store".
Tap "Featured" at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Tap the "Apple ID" button in the lower-left corner. (If you are not signed in, tap the "Sign In" button, and sign in with your Apple ID. Then, scroll back to the bottom of the page, and tap the "Apple ID" button.)
Tap the "View Apple ID" button.
Enter your password and tap OK.
The Account screen will appear. Scroll down and tap "Manage App Subscriptions". If you don't have app subscriptions this button will not be displayed.
You'll then be taken to your App Subscriptions page.
Tap the subscription category for which you want to disable auto-renewal.
Tap On to toggle the switch to Off.
You'll receive a confirmation message; tap "Turn Off" to confirm your choice.
If you want to turn off auto-renewal from your computer, please follow these steps:
Launch iTunes on your computer.
Choose Store > Sign In from the iTunes menu.
Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted.
Choose Store > View My Account. You may be asked to re-enter your Apple ID password. Click View Account.
From the Account Information screen, scroll to the bottom of the page to the Settings section.
Click Manage to the right of Subscriptions.
From the Manage Subscription screen click on the subscription that you would like to manage.
On the Edit Subscription screen, you will see the current subscription status and subscription details.
Click the Off radio button to turn off Auto-Renewal.
You will see a confirmation window asking you to confirm.
Click Continue to proceed.
Note: When you turn off auto-renewal, you will no longer continue to be billed for your subscription; however your subscription will continue until the expiry date.
