The American Society of Clinical Oncology recently released its draft recommendation statement, White Blood Cell Growth Factors, for public comment.
The draft recommendations are consistent with the Institute of Medicine’s evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and reflect systematic reviews that addressed use of white blood cell growth factors in preventing or treating neutropenic events, or for mobilizing stem cells, in adults with cancer.
Individuals interested in contributing to advancing these clinical guidelines are encouraged to submit feedback before the open comment deadline, May 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST.
