World Lung Cancer Day is every August 1. The annual event raises awareness about lung cancer, its risks, and the importance of early detection. It honors patients, survivors, and caregivers, while promoting research and education. The day encourages people around the world to stop smoking and advocate for better lung cancer treatment.

To mark the international event, we’re spotlighting some of the latest lung cancer clinical guidelines from international societies. These guidelines were either published or updated between early 2024 through today and are from societies like the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and more.
