The 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium is scheduled for January 8 through January 10 in San Francisco, California. The meeting is expected to draw more than 5,000 participants and approximately 700 exhibitors presenting some of the latest innovations and technology in gastrointestinal oncology. Attending the 2026 ASCO symposium, either in-person or virtually, offers relevant education and professional development opportunities for clinicians and researchers in the field.

ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium Registration
Registration for the 2026 ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium is now open.
In-person and digital registration is available. Online-only registration options are less expensive than in-person registration, and ASCO members receive an additional discount on registration fees. Special discounts are available to members from low or middle income countries, and members who are considered early career, retired, or emeritus.
Additionally, there are special rate categories for individuals who qualify as a nonmember in-training, nonmember affiliated health professional, or nonmember patient advocate.
Registration will remain open through January 10, 2026.

ASCO Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium Continuing Education Information
ASCO provides an in-depth guide on how to claim CE and MOC for the symposium.
April 13, 2026, is the deadline to claim CE credit or request MOC points.
ASCO suggests that attendees log credit hours as soon as they complete a session. Attendees must use the program guide or mobile app, both of which will only log credit hours once “Submit” has been clicked/tapped at the end of the credit-claiming process.
Attendees can view sessions they’ve claimed credit for, access credit transcripts, and download their certificate of attendance through their ASCO Profile, under My ASCO.
