In the most recent installment of the International Guidelines Series and in honor of Thyroid Awareness Month 2025, we will explore the latest guidelines released by the prestigious European Thyroid Association (ETA). Founded in 1965, the ETA is a scientific organization dedicated to advancing clinical research, as well as improving the standards of understanding and clinical practice in thyroid disease. With a membership exceeding 900 individuals, the ETA plays a crucial role in shaping the landscape of thyroid research and treatment.
Each year, the ETA releases a diverse range of international guidelines, each with specific objectives aimed at improving patient outcomes and pushing the boundaries of the field.
