The 2025 annual meeting of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI) wrapped up on November 10, after five days of learning, networking, and insightful discussions in Orlando, Florida. The ACAAI’s 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting brought together thought leaders from around the world to present the latest information on novel therapies and management strategies and to support continued efforts in advancing patient care.

ACAAI 2025 Annual Conference Awards

ACAAI 2025 Annual Conference Sessions
The educational sessions that took place during the ACAAI annual meeting were designed to benefit practicing allergists and immunologists, along with fellows in-training, residents, allied health professionals, physician assistants and advanced practice nurses, managers and administrators, primary care physicians, and other medical professionals. With such a broad scope of topics covered, we have a sampling of the sessions available during the five-day conference.
- Spotlight on Allergic Conditions of the Skin
- This session explored the latest advancements, diagnostic techniques, and management strategies for a variety of allergic skin disorders. The two primary topics discussed were angioedema and chronic spontaneous urticaria.
- Practical Approaches to Drug Hypersensitivity: Managing Diverse Populations and Real-World Challenges
- This session provided practical, evidence-based approaches to managing drug hypersensitivity reactions across diverse patient populations, including special considerations for pediatrics, pregnancy, bone marrow transplant (BMT) recipients, and the outpatient setting.
- Is That Asthma or an Imposter? Understanding Asthma Mimickers
- This session discussed conditions that mimic asthma—often referred to as asthma "lookalikes"—such as vocal cord dysfunction (VCD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and tracheomalacia.
- Unmet Needs and Future Directions in Food Allergy
- This session addressed current challenges and unmet needs in a variety of areas in food allergy, including prevention, diagnostics and therapeutics. Novel therapies will be highlighted and patient-reported outcomes will be described, with a focus on future directions in the field.
