The North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) is preparing for their 2025 Annual Meeting. From November 5 to November 8, in Chicago, Illinois, the NASPGHAN 2025 Annual Meeting is four days packed with networking opportunities, educational sessions, and engaging hands-on activities.
To help you plan for the event, we compiled a complete conference preview for your convenience. We’re outlining what you can register for, additional events, showcasing some abstracts, giving you a rundown of main events, and more.
2025 NASPGHAN Annual Meeting Event Registration
The 2025 NASPGHAN Annual Meeting, Postgraduate Course, Single Topic Symposium, and the Pediatric GI Teaching and Tomorrow Program are all open for registration. The Single Topic Symposium takes place on November 5, the Postgraduate Course takes place on November 6, and the Pediatric GI Teaching and Tomorrow Program takes place for the length of the meeting. The Single Topic Symposium, Postgraduate Course, and the Annual Meeting all have separate fees that require separate registrations.

- 2025 Single Topic Symposium
- The Single Topic Symposium takes place on Wednesday, November 5, from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. The topic is celiac disease and there will be multiple presentations and breaks throughout the entire day focused on the disease. The presentations range in topic from the science of diagnosing celiac disease, to clinical trials, advances in screening, and more.
- Postgraduate Course
- The Postgraduate Course takes place on Thursday, November 6, from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The course is divided into five modules that span the entire day. Each module contains a handful of presentations from experts on the assigned topic. The five modules, in order of their presentation, are Pancreas/Liver, FGID/Motility, Endoscopy, Inflammatory Disease, and then the course concludes with Nutrition/Potpourri.
- Pediatric GI Teaching and Tomorrow Program
- The Pediatric GI Teaching and Tomorrow Program begins at 7:00 AM on Thursday, November 6. This is a program for pediatric residents with an interest in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. Individuals selected for the program will receive a reduced registration fee that includes registration for all the Teaching and Tomorrow Program events, as well as the NASPGHAN Annual Meeting, and the Postgraduate Course. The Teaching and Tomorrow Program events include an orientation breakfast on Thursday, a luncheon on Thursday, a reception with fellows and program directors on Friday, and a closing breakfast Saturday morning.
NASPGHAN 2025 Annual Meeting Abstracts
Abstracts submitted to NASPGHAN that were accepted have already been published on the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition (JPGN) website. There are hundreds of abstracts available for viewing. A brief rundown of a few of the abstracts include:

Continuing Education Opportunities
CE credits are available. NASPGHAN has designated its meeting, the post graduate course, and the single topic symposium to count for an accumulated 37.25 Live Activity AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. That breaks down to:
- Annual Meeting: 23 credits
- Postgraduate Course: 6.5 credits
- Single Topic Symposium: 7.75 credits
Additional Information
The Council for Pediatric Nutrition Professionals (CPNP) and the Association of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Nurses (APGNN) Annual Meetings are also taking place in conjunction with the NASPGHAN Annual Meeting. The CPNP meeting takes place on Saturday, November 8, with a bonus evening event on Friday, November 7. The APGNN meeting takes place on Friday November 7 and Saturday, November 8.
