The American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) just opened their draft consensus report on the management of type 1 diabetes to public review and comment.
The 2026 consensus statement draft, The Management of Type 1 Diabetes in Adults, is open for public comment through October 16, 2025.
The 2026 report follows the 2021 report in providing guidance on managing type 1 diabetes in adults. All sections of the 2021 report received updates based on rapid advances in the field, including novel therapies, disease interventions, and new technologies.
