Abstract

Despite treatment with renin-angiotensin system inhibitors (RASis) and sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2is), diabetic kidney disease (DKD) continues to exhibit substantial residual renal risk. The renoprotective effects of adding finerenone to dual therapy remain incompletely characterised.
