The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to evaluate the clinical presentation of coccidioidomycosis and variables that lead to a delayed diagnosis. Therefore, the prompt diagnosis of coccidioidomycosis may be challenging, but it is critical. The current study examines the prevalence of delayed diagnosis of coccidioidomycosis, along with risk factors for delayed diagnosis.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for primary care physicians, infectious disease specialists, and other clinicians who assess patients with symptoms consistent with coccidioidomycosis.
