Rheumatoid arthritis Clinical Disease Activity Index (CDAI)

The CDAI is a useful clinical composite score for following patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

PGA

Patient Global disease Activity estimate represents the patient's self assessment of disease activity on a 0-10 scale where 10 means maximal activity.

EGA

Evaluator Global disease Activity estimate represents the evaluator's assessment of disease activity on a 0-10 scale where 10 means maximal activity.

Tender Joint Count

Joints include knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and those in the hands.
In the hands, the joints that are evaluated include the first through fifth metacarpophalangeal joint, the interphalangeal joint of the thumb, and the second through fifth proximal interphalangeal joint.

Swollen Joint Count

Joints that are evaluated include knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and those in the hands.
