The American Society of Hematology (ASH) has announced that their draft recommendations for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) in Older Adults (Update) are now open for public comment. These guidelines have been developed to assist healthcare practitioners in the treatment and management of AML in older patients.
The ASH guideline development process involves a comprehensive evaluation by a panel of experts who analyze the evidence and develop recommendations. The public comment period provides an opportunity for stakeholders to provide feedback on the recommendations before the guidelines are finalized.
