Psoriasis Awareness Month, every August, is an excellent time to consider the challenges faced by patients living with this chronic condition. The awareness month is a reminder of the physical and psychological burden psoriasis can have on patients.

Awareness initiatives promote early diagnosis, patient education, and adherence to treatment plans, ultimately improving long-term outcomes. By increasing awareness for conditions like psoriasis, we can help advocate for increased research, better optimized care, and enhanced quality of life for people living with psoriasis.

For Psoriasis Awareness Month we are featuring eight of the latest guidelines on psoriasis from clinical societies around the world. Some of these guidelines come from the American Academy of Dermatology, the National Psoriasis Foundation, and the British Association of Dermatologists.
