The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) recently opened two draft publications, a practice guideline and a practice advisory, for public comment. The guideline is the 2027 American Society of Anesthesiologists Practice Guideline on Perioperative Pain Management Using Local and Regional Analgesia for Orthopedic Surgery. The practice advisory is the 2026 American Society of Anesthesiologists Practice Advisory for Peroperative Assessment and Optimization.
