Having just passed the halfway point of 2025, we wanted to take a few moments to reflect on the year we’ve had and share some insights with you that you may find interesting. Today we present the most viewed clinical guidelines of 2025 that were published or notably updated since the beginning of the year.

It’s worth pointing out the rather obvious bias with this list, and that is the fact that guidelines published near the start of the year will naturally have more views than guidelines that were published within the past few weeks; four out of five of the top five guidelines from the list were published during the first three months of the year. If winding up near the top of year-to-date, most-viewed lists is a goal you’re aiming for, it is worth considering releasing your content closer to the start of the year.

Another component to consider is trickle-down traffic. When a large entity, such as a medical society or pharmaceutical company, posts insightful new content or announces an exciting innovation, that action organically boosts traffic to older content since some of the people who show up for the new content end up staying and clicking around to explore older content. Algorithms may pick up on the sudden renewed interest older pages see and may start to test it to a wider audience, possibly resulting in a notable spike in traffic to older pages.
