In the latest edition of the Guidelines International Series, we delve into the most recent guidelines released by the European Academy of Neurology (EAN). The EAN, established in 2014 through the merger of the European Neurological Society (ENS) and European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS), boasts a membership of over 45,000 individuals and represents 48 European national societies. As a leading medical society, the EAN is dedicated to promoting excellence in general neurology practice across Europe, ultimately enhancing patient care. Their overarching goal is to ensure Europe remains at the forefront of neurological research, solidifying its status as a global hub for advancements in neurology.

Annually, the EAN issues a wide array of international guidelines, each designed with specific objectives to enhance patient outcomes and drive innovation in the field. In this edition, we will present an overview of the EAN Clinical Practice Guidelines spanning the past five years, offering valuable insights into the latest advancements in neurological care.
