The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (SCAI), Society for Vascular Medicine (SVM), and Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) consortium recently released a position statement regarding balloon pulmonary angioplasty in the management of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary diseased and are seeking feedback. The consortium position statement features best-practice recommendations on procedural performance, patient selection, program initiation, and operator competence. Interested individuals are instructed to download the statement and submit any comments in the associated survey.
