The 2026 annual meeting of the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO) is set for September 29 through October 1 in Detroit, Michigan. The three-day SIO International Conference is the premier annual gathering dedicated to advancing integrative oncology through science and collaborative practice.

Tuesday, September 29

  • Oncology Acupuncture 102: Advanced Clinical Decision-Making, Safety Governance, and System Integration
    • 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Description: Oncology Acupuncture 102 is a 4-hour advanced pre-conference workshop designed for clinicians with prior oncology acupuncture exposure who seek deeper training in clinical judgment, safety governance, and system integration. Building on the success of Oncology Acupuncture 101 at SIO 2025, this workshop responds to strong demand for longer, more clinically applied, case-based education.
  • Find Your Inner Child: Mind–Body Interventions in Pediatric Oncology
    • 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM
    • Description: This 1 hour and 45-minute pre-conference workshop brings a pediatric perspective forward early in the SIO conference, addressing a population that is often underrepresented while offering broadly transferable clinical insights. Framed as “Find Your Inner Child,” the session invites participants to explore pediatric oncology mind–body care through both a clinical and experiential lens, emphasizing how developmentally attuned interventions foster connection, inclusion, and belonging for patients, families, and healthcare providers across the cancer care continuum.
  • Applying Implementation Science to Advance High-Quality Integrative Oncology Care: Lessons from the IMAGINE Project

    • Description: This workshop will provide an accessible introduction to D&I science, using the Implementing Massage & Acupuncture into Oncology Care (IMAGINE) project as a real-world case example. IMAGINE is a national collaboration among Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO), and 35 urban, rural, and community cancer centers and hospital systems across the United States.
