National Infertility Awareness Week 2025 (NIAW), observed April 20–26, 2025, serves as a vital opportunity to spotlight the clinical and emotional realities of infertility. The campaign is dedicated to increasing public and professional awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting individuals and couples navigating reproductive challenges. According to the World Health Organization, infertility impacts approximately one in six people globally, underscoring its widespread clinical relevance.
In recognition of NIAW, this edition of Guidelines Rundown centers on infertility-related clinical practice guidelines released over the past eight years. Developed by leading medical organizations, these guidelines provide evidence-based recommendations that support optimal evaluation, treatment, and fertility preservation strategies. The sections that follow offer key insights into current standards of care aimed at improving outcomes for patients experiencing infertility.
