The guideline, Use of Vaccines for the Prevention of Seasonal COVID-19, Influenza, and RSV Infections in Immunocompromised Patients, addresses specific patients populations including patients who are recipients of solid organ transplants, patients who have an autoimmune disease treated with immunosuppressants or biologics, and more.

Recommendations from the 2026 IDSA Guideline on Seasonal Vaccines for Immunocompromised Patients
COVID-19 Recommendation
- In adults and children with compromised immunity*, the IDSA guideline panel recommends administering age-appropriate 2026-2027 COVID-19 vaccinations.
Influenza Recommendation
- In adults and children with compromised immunity*, the IDSA guideline panel recommends administering age-appropriate 2026-2027 influenza vaccinations.
RSV Recommendation
- In adults and adolescents with compromised immunity*, the IDSA guideline panel recommends administering RSV vaccinations.
